Based on the legend of Beowulf, the story follows a lone warrior asked to deal with an unstoppable monster
known only as Grendel. Now in this version they never truly explain why Grendel is attacking they leave the impression
he doesn't like loud noices, well maybe he should try moving to a quieter area or at least asking the noisy neighbors to keep
it down before he resorts to a killing spree.
Beowulf shows up like he's cock of the walk and the greatest thing since bread (considering sliced bread
hasn't been invented at this time peroid.) He does kill Grendel and instead of killing the main source of this curse
Grendel's Mother he sells his soul to her. What's up with that. I never heard that in the original story.
In the end Beowulf is killed and some other poor smuck is king and Grendel's Mom is lurking in the water to tempt him.
Okay, what was the point of the re-write, I mean really. It was an amazing feet in animation, the
cast does an amazing job. But all for what? What was the point of the re-write, I mean not to leave it open.
They killed off Beowulf so no matter what the can't make a Beowulf 2. So what is up with the bad re-write, can someone
kindly explain that. I give it the Turkey.
